June 11, 2009 Uncategorized No CommentsWe are here in Washington, D.C. to connect with other thought leaders on the future of the 21st Century Skills movement. We just completed some projects in Cambridge, England before arriving here. It is clear that for this generation of young Americans to thrive in the global knowledge economy it is essential that they have excellent reading, writing, and math skills as well as other 21st Century Skills including thinking, learning, communicating, and collaborating. Three more states have joined as leaders of the movement. This makes 13 states who educate around 11 million students. We are proud to be a sponsor of the National Summit on 21st Century Skills. We are looking forward to learning how we can support other leaders of this movement and to adding updates for our upcoming book 21st Century Skills: A Key to America’s Future. Let us know what questions you have.
